The Curioshell Crab is widely distributed across all five expansive areas of Monster Hunter Wilds. However, players often report success finding it in the Scarlet Forest, particularly near the Area 6 Pop-Up Campsite at the Flowering Rocks Tent.
You do not need to set up a campsite if you lack an additional slot. Instead, turn away from the campsite and head north towards a nearby water body, where you may spot the Curioshell Crab moving around.
To capture the Curioshell Crab, hold down L1/LB and browse through your items. Press Square/X to equip your Capture Net, then hold R2/RT to prepare it for throwing.
