Sols RNG Black Merchant
The Black Merchant, also known as the Jester NPC, is one of 2 new characters added to Sols RNG during Era 8. The main difference between them is the services they offer at their shop and their appearance. As you can guess, the Black Merchant Jester looks like a jester, with a purple and black colour scheme.
How To Tell If The Black Merchant Has Spawned In
There are 2 ways to spot the spawn location for the Black Merchant. Firstly, you can zoom your camera out, and keep a lookout for an explosion of smoke and light. Or, if you want to do other things with your day rather than stare at the screen, you can turn the audio up and listen out for a loud noise.
The sound effect signals that one of them has spawned in. However, it’s the colour of the light that tells you which of the 2 it is. If you spot the purple light, the Black Merchant is at that location. If the light is white, then it’s Mari.
Most players state that the Black Merchant Jester only spawns in the outdoor area of Sols RNG, so remember to remain around the main player spawn spot. Another thing to note is that the Jester has a 3% chance to appear, whereas Mari’s spawn rate is 97%.
What Does The Black Merchant Sell?
The Black Merchant offers products in return for Void Coins, in particular, the Oblivion Potion. You can get Void Coins from Mari by spending regular coins! Try to buy what you need as quickly as possible, as the Black Merchant despawns after a while.
The Jester also sells items such as the Heavenly Potion, Random Potions, Stella’s Star, Stella’s Candle, a Merchant Tracker, and Runes. Apart from the Void Coins used to get the Oblivion Potion, it looks like you can purchase the rest of his stock with Points (P).
