Dress to Impress Lana Lore Explained - New Secret Room!
While the game seems like it’s all about fashion, there’s also the Dress to Impress Lana lore which brings along a mysterious horror-themed twist.

Dress to Impress Lana Lore
If you’ve been playing a ton of Dress to Impress like me, you’ve more than likely spotted a strange face popping up everywhere. When watching the fashion show on the runway, there’s a woman’s face on the ground within an inflatable ring. While you’re planning an outfit, there’s a window that shows multiple figures of the same woman standing behind trees.
Looking closer, this woman is none other than Lana. Yes, the same Lana who does your nails before every show! She may paint your nails with the prettiest on-theme colours, but she’s hiding a dark secret.
The Basics – Agamemnon
Above her desk, there is a diary with an entry written inside that mentions a ‘doppelganger’ and that Lana herself has been replaced. The main premise of Lana’s lore is that she has been lured in by the promises of a cult leader called Agamemnon, who has preyed on her financial debt.
The interesting thing about his name is that it’s inspired by Agamemnon from Greek mythology, centring around the tale of the King during the Trojan War. This figure in Dress to Impress is creating copies of Lana to start an ‘uprising’. The reason why hasn’t been revealed yet though.
Different parts of Lana’s story and the clues we have all take inspiration from Greek mythology, such as the Apple of Discord from the Judgement of Paris. Agamemnon also has a board that contains multiple notes pinned to it, talking about Lana being ‘perfect’, experiments, and somebody having ‘no eyes’.
So far, we know that Agamemnon is responsible for these clones and for the sacrifices that have been made for this supposed ‘uprising’. In one clue, we find out that the body parts of the sacrifices are being used to create his ‘true form’.
At this point, nobody knows if the Lana we see in-game is the real one… or a doppelganger. Throughout the story, Lana has flip-flopped between enjoying her job at the nail salon to despising it, even going so far as to threaten to burn it down in her diary.
Lana’s Horror Games
When visiting Lana’s Roblox account, you can find a small selection of strange games in her Favourites list. The only playable games are the first 4 in the list below, and all of them are horror games. It’s quite the tonal shift from the glamour of Dress to Impress. The names are as follows:

- Meat Room

Forest
To summarise the events of Forest, you learn a little bit about Lana’s backstory. Upon reaching a maze, you find a gravestone that has Lana’s name on it. Sunflowers seem to have a large presence in this game, but as of right now, it’s not clear if this has anything to do with her lore specifically.
Lana’s doppelgangers are wandering around the maze too trying to kill you, which from a later piece of information, may be those taking part in something called ‘The Awakening’. Surviving the ordeal leads you to another section, and upon completion, there’s a binary code that translates to “You may have finished her trials, but the evil still lurks throughout. This is not the end, there will be chaos”.
Sanningens Galleri
There are mannequins that stand in a circle and the photo of a monster looming behind Lana. The former may reference the supposed ‘Awakening’, and the monster with Lana may be the one who has organised it. We cannot see the monster’s face though, which may be how Lana interprets Agamemnon.
Lana’s Groups
The latest clues tend to come from the groups that Lana has created. One is Saudade (which means a deep longing for someone) and the other is Plague. Occasionally, Lana posts a status into these groups, which are mostly cryptic hints.
The group description for Plague mentions a portal and ‘travesties that occur’ inside. However, the description for the Saudade group provides a little more information. It references the ‘birth of an uprising’ which is ‘united against the forces of evil’.
One of the most recent posts in the group is from Lana herself, stating that she sees a ‘doppelganger sitting at her desk’. In this, she’s talking about Lana who sits at the table in the nail salon.
The Lana YouTube Channel
10 videos have been uploaded to Lana’s YouTube channel (lanadoesnails) so far, all of which vary in length, though most are quite short. I won’t spoil the contents of the videos, but they do give us some extra insight into what might be going on. I never expected a fashion game on Roblox to start going down the analogue horror route, but I like it!
Meat Room
There’s a secret room hidden behind the wall in the men’s section. By walking through this wall, you find yourself in a room that has walls of flesh. ‘Lana’ is written across one of the walls, meaning this unoccupied space has something to do with her.
This new secret is reminiscent of the red themes in the horror spin-off games regarding Lana’s lore. There’s now a key on the floor that has Lana’s name attached to it too!
