How To Troll in 99 Nights in the Forest

You don’t need a Class to prank other players, but if you want to go all out, I recommend buying the Decorator for 40 Diamonds, so that you begin with a Hammer. I’ll cover how to utilise it later in this guide.

Early Game Mischief

  • Eat all the food
    • You can continue eating even with full saturation, which means you’re able to greedily chow down on the team’s hard-earned food. Hungry players risk dying or losing their ability to run around without much worry. Plus, you can blame the gluttony on another player if nobody saw you do it!
  • AKF Bear Trap
    • If a player goes AFK at camp, you can drop a bear trap on them and repeatedly reset it to kill them. If you want to take your prank a step further, check out my final heading!
  • Burn Saplings
    • Wood is a critical material, but it is fortunately renewable thanks to saplings. That and players typically use saplings to create a fence around their base to keep cultists out. By burning them all, obtaining wood becomes trickier and requires trips further into the forest, wasting precious daylight hours.
  • Lure Wolves
    • This one is simple, but if you lure wolves to the base, especially on cultist raid nights, you may cause some chaos at camp.
  • Waste Materials
    • Buy pointless blueprints such as the Shelves and just hold onto them; don’t place them.

It’s Hammer Time

Going back to the Hammer, obtained via the Decorator class as mentioned earlier, this item lets you move furniture and craftables around the base.

By moving stuff around, you can inconvenience those you’re playing with and set up trapped rooms for players to get stuck in (like I describe in the next heading!)

Pranking The Dead

If a player dies, which, hopefully, only happens later in the game, you can drag their body back to base. Before reviving them, you can build a shelter trap to prevent them from escaping. To do this, place two Wood Rain Shelters facing in on one another. There’s a small gap at the top between the sides and roof where a ragdolled (dead) player can squeeze into. Once thrown inside, use a bandage or medkit to revive them and watch as they jump around, unable to escape!
