The First Descendant Weapons

Firstly, let’s go over how the weapon system works in The First Descendant. Every character can equip 3 weapons in their arsenal. However, there are also sub-weapons and other pieces of equipment that they can utilise too.

Not all weapons will work with every character. It’s up to you to equip them with the best weapons for their role, abilities, and stats. Each weapon falls under a rarity category too, and can be upgraded at the Workbench in Albion. Upgrades include Weapon Level Transmissions, Unique Ability Enhancements, Reactor Enhancements, and Weapon Adjustments.

Weapon Rarities:

  • Common (White)
  • Standard (Blue)
  • Rare (Purple)
  • Ultimate (Yellow/Gold)

How to Get Ultimate Weapons

The first way is by obtaining them via drops. They can be found within dungeons, and can also drop upon completion. The same goes for boss fights too! Beating a boss rewards you with loot, and one of those pieces may be an Ultimate Weapon. Secondly, missions can also supply you with new weapons.

The next method of obtaining Ultimate Weapons is by crafting them in Albion. You must have the correct materials and meet all requirements to craft a weapon, but the game will let you know which materials you need to collect!
