Evil Geniuses strengthened their lead at the top of the WC3L with a 5-0 rout of Colorful yesterday.
Danish Orc Rene "Ciara" Krag continues to sit on the bench for his team, but as usual his two team mates Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin performed well enough to earn their front seats in the WC3L.
Happy and Grubby quickly disposed their opposition in the 1on1 matches, as Happy two-zeroed Lin "Wulin" Wu and Grubby the same against Shenghui "Future" Li. The duo then put the win in the sack by winning the 2on2 by 2-1. Changing sides, Grubby then thrashed Wulin and Happy did the same to Future.
Five more points for Grubby and his gang must taste sweet closing in to the last playday. Sitting safely in the top runner position, Evil Geniuses can at worst be tied first with We Are Go at the end of the playday.
Team Colorful looks paler than ever. An eleventh place and only 14 points means direct elimination. With two points up to Raptor-Gaminga and one match more played, it looks like the WC3L newcomers will have to start over in the sixteenth season's qualifier.
