The WC3L is moving into it's 14th season today with the Round 1 Qualification matches. Today, the rather unknown team diamondZ is up against the German stronghold of Raptor Gaming.
HLA looks ready. Are you?Raptor Gaming and diamondZ have been given the honour to kick off the WarCraft III Champions League Qualifications today. The former are fairly well-known for their solid participation in the NGL-Two league, boasting players like iNSoLeNCE, TryDying and, of course, the feared Undead player HATE-LOVE-ANGER. On top of that, Take, the German SK-Gaming legend, is coaching the team. diamondZ, on the other hand, are not as known as their adversaries. The team mainly consists of Russian players along with the Ukrainian Bly. It remains to be seen if they can stir things up for the Germans.
The qualifiers will continue on Saturday where the newly formed Chinese team eXpertize takes on the Australian pride Australia United. A tense match is to be expected as both teams contain several familiar and certainly talented players.
