After signing three players before the start of the GSTL, Azubu continue to expand their roster, their newest acquisition being Korean Zerg Ragnarok (ex-Incredible Miracle, ex-TSL). Ragnarok comes to further strengthen an already powerful Zerg line-up of Symbol, Sleep and BboongBboong.
Earlier this year, things were not looking great for team Azubu. With company's foreign branch closing, fans of the StarCraft 2 team were worried that the same might happen to the star-laden roster, despite Azubu's assurance that this will not be the case. In late July, however, Azubu started growing thin on players as Ganzi, Top, Inca, Eve and team captain Violet were removed. Just a week later on August 7th, Ganzi announced his retirement and at the end of the same month Genius and San also said goodbye to Azubu.
That left the team with a scarce roster and they were forced to recruit fresh blood this September if they wanted to have a deep roster for the then upcoming GSTL. Neige, Patience and ex-Quantic's Center came to strengthen the withered Protoss and Terran line-ups and Azubu were back to a sizeable roster.
Today, former Incredible Miracle player Ragnarok - mostly known as being a challenger league competitor - announced via Twitter that he will also be joining Azubu. The date he can possibly make his first appearance with the new jersey is October 3rd as Azubu play SouL in the last match of GSTL Round 1.
