LiiLD.C is up against Korean WinNers, his first time on the 4Kings tag. How did the game proceed? Here is a summary.

»

Game 1 - Dark Ranger vs Demon Hunter

The first game between LiiLD.C and WinNers was played on Echo Isles. In the very beginning we can see the two players go for different strategical build orders. LiiLD.C goes for the Dark Ranger as many do on Echo Isles, while WinNers goes good old Demon Hunter.

The game had no big mistakes or upsetting moves, however we can see the second big difference (apart from the hero pick) when LiiLD.C decided to put up an expansion on tier 2, while WinNers instead goes to tier 3 for the bears. While the expansion is in progress, LiiLD.C pushes very hard with lots of dryads before WinNers changes to counter the huge advantage from the tech difference. Both of the players pick up Naga Sea Witch as a second hero.

Soon, LiiLD.C also proceeds to tier 3 and bears. With the expansion he had a pretty strong advantage, but WinNers managed to fight him back while hitting and running the newly built Tree of Life to the ground. 1:0 for LiiLD.C.

Game 2 - without the second Staff

The second game, played on Turtle Rock, was not different from any other Night-Elf mirror out there. The slightest mistake can give you a disadvantage, and when capitalized on by the other, give you the lose.

First proof of WinNers advantage in the second game.
Spawning ahead of each other, them two chose the Demon Hunter first, alongside with Archers. At tier two, it was clear they were both heading for bears.

As they both still are pretty tied, the struggle keeps on going. WinNers is ahead in experience at both heroes, while LiiLD.C is ahead in unit tech. However, in the end it's a pretty clear win for the Korean WinNers as LiiLD.C earlier had to teleport his way out in order to keep his hero alive. At the same time, LiiLD.C was missing one Staff of Preservation. The butterfly effect ended this match - the smallest miscalculations by LiiLD.C evened the match, 1:1.

Game 3 - Prince LiiLD.C

The last game was played on Terenas Stand and was not very long at all. Nevertheless, it was exciting and didn't end like a regular game. Two Demon Hunters, two Naga Sea Witches, a few bears each and a little flying ship there was.

With a great advantage in the early game for LiiLD.C, it might have been a sad ending for the one's cheering for the Swede. Call it skills or call it luck when WinNers was saved by his not-fully-teched-bears and their rejuvenation in his own base. LiiLD.C had to fall back, and with both the same thoughts, they get a zeppelin each and almost at the same time their drop each others mine.

The picture reveals the destroyed mine of LiiLD.C's.
Now everything happens real quick. WinNers destroys LiiLD.C's entangled mine, and in a heartbeat he is back in his base with the teleport scroll. Daniel is jumping into the zeppelin for cover, but is crashing right into the forest. The game is over and LiiLD.C is yet to be titled as the prince of the 4Kings.
