The GomTV MBCGame StarLeague has reached the playoffs, starting this Wednesday. The playoffs feature 16 contestants: nine Terrans, four Protoss and three Zergs.



If you feel you didn't get enough of the Koreans in World Cyber Games, you can see Stork, Hwasin and sAviOr and 13 other progamers battling it off in the playoffs of GomTV MBCGame StarLeague. The first four set of matches starts on Thursday, 11th of October at 11:30 CET, where we will see sAviOr vs. Stork, July vs. TheMania, iloveoov vs. Mind and Free vs. Lomo.

Looking back to the group stage, one of the top favorites, Sea, failed to qualify for the playoffs, while instead Kwanro and JulyZerg won their groups in a bit of an upset. It will be interesting to see what the two Zergs can do to the two Terrans Light and TheMania in the playoffs.
