China, China, oh China. PGL launches its first 1on1 invite tournament for WarCraft. Starting 17 of July, the hunt for the $10,000 is on!

And so the Chinese event organizers PGL give us yet another astonishing event. Last time we saw the StarCraft players go at it, in a tournament that Draco from Poland ended up winning. Now it's the WarCraft players turn to show the Chinese public what they are made of. A total of 16 players across the world has been invited or fought their way through the qualifier to take part in the first season of the PGL WarCraft 3 League. $10,000 is at stake, and the competition is hard as stone.

Four Chinese players was not on the guest list. Instead they had to fight through a long qualifier, where eventually Ace, InFi, Gstar and TH000 came out on top. They will join Sky & co under the Chinese flag during this event. Coming from Europe, we have (as usual) Grubby, Creolophus, ToD and SaSe. These four characters have been invited to many events in China, because of their high fame and group of fans in the land of Dragons.

The event takes place in the Gamebank Broadcast Studio in Beijing, China. Most of the players invited to this are already playing in the StarsWar 4 tournament located in China, so it shouldn't be too much of a hazzle for the players to enter this event.

The winner gets $10,000 USD, the second goes home with $4,000 USD and the third placed wins $2,500 USD. Expect GosuGamers to give you a kick-ass coverage of this highly anticipated tournament!
