Yoan "ToD" Merlo have recently announced that he and Mousesports SaSe have plans of moving to China. They are currently looking on different apartments and solutions to live there permanently.
One of worlds best Warcraft players ToD is together with the Swedish Mousesports-star SaSe planning on moving to to Beijing, China this autumn. This announcement came on ToDs online livejournal during his preparations before WCG 2006. He is also confirming the departure of FoV to chinese wNv and that he first felt suprised but understand FoVs dream about playing and living in China.
"I've been making plans with SaSe to move to China (Beijing)lately, and we have googled or browsed alot of stuff online, mostly being about apartments or mandarin class. We got some advice about where to live, some people did recommend me the business district, some others wu dao kou area, and some others chao yang park."
No time for Digital Life 2006
The former WEG champion is also telling us that there is a upcoming WEG season called "WEG Open" in the horizon, it will be hosted somewhere in Asia but not in China or South Korea. ToDs schedule is very busy at the moment and thats why he couldnt attend Digital Life 2006 in New York.
- "I'm going to Italy on Monday 16th for WCG, then next month there IEST, CEG, CPL China, showmatches for me in SouthKorea(maybe) and WEG Open should start", writes ToD.
WCG 2006 preparations - 6 losses against Russians
ToD is also explaining his 21/1-record on Northrend before winning WCG France and when posting (13th of October), he had 61/6, and that some losses depends of his bad internet connection. True or false, he have problems with players from the Eastern Europe, especially Russia:
- "As far as i know all my 6 losses have been made by Russian players."
