GotFrag reports that the Night Elf player Qazzi from USA drops out of the Battle.Net Global Finals. Reason for this is because he has troubles getting a passport. Instead a mini tournament was held for the players who got knocked out of the group stage. These players were ToT)Virus(, TeK-9.StrifeCro, verGe.ShrieK and TeK-9.apm.
ShrieK took down apm with 2-0, and StrifeCro defeated Virus with 2-1. In the Grand Final, the Human player ShrieK won agains the TeK-9 Night Elf player with 2-1. ShrieK says that he completely blew the second games because he thought he'd won easily.
- I won 2-1 after completely blowing the second game because I thought I had it won easily, and then getting the shit scared out of me when my one breaker got down to 4 hp 3rd game and I thought I wouldn't be able to fight off rejuv on his stuff, but it lived, he says in the WCReplays forum.
This means that SonkiE, KiWiKaKi, LongWalk and ShrieK will be the four to represent the Americans in the Battle.Net Season 4 Global Final held in Cologne later this year.
