Twelve WarCraft III-players and twelve Counter Strike-teams will be featured in this edition of the tournament. A total of five qualifiers will be arranged around the world, instead of invitations as earlier, which will give us some very interesting qualifiers, specially the Europe qualifier in Stockholm, Sweden which will have three WarCraft III-spots and four Counter Strike-spots to the final.
The Asian Qualifiers will be open for all, but the rest will be based upon invitations. Dates for the qualifiers and the invited teams and players will be announced in a later time. The Top 3 from the last season will get auto-berth, which means that the WarCraft III-players Moon (Winner), GoStop (Runner-up) and WinneR (Third place) don't have to qualify.
