Like a shooting star, StarDust was a bright player that retired too soon. Hopefully his current stay in pro-gaming will last longer.
Protoss hero Seok Hee “StarDust” Son has returned to professional gaming as a full time StarCraft 2 player. The 2013 Dreamhack Open: Summer and 2014 WCS Europe Season 2 champion brings with him a stellar record of multiple top 4 and first place finishes across several major tournaments.
His current plans to compete in WCS or other upcoming events are unannounced and he is currently teamless. Coupled with Polt’s recent departure from CM Storm, the pool of free agent players continues to grow. Talent like StarDust is hard to come by and it remains to be seen who will be the first to snatch him up.
