Acer's "Queen of Zerg" made an impressive showing last night as she drove through Protoss duo puCK and CranK to take first in Group H of WCS America Ro32, becoming the second North American after HuK to survive the initial group stage.

Everything about WCS America S3 in one place

Known for her prowess in ZvP and having three Protosses in her group, fans of professional StarCraft 2 expected Scarlett to do well and the Acer Zerg did not disappoint. Opening 2:1 against fellow North American puCK sent Scarlett to the winner's match where she would eventually meet Axiom captain (and a team-mate of her at Axiom-Acer) CranK. This series would end up being even shorted and the foreigner needed two games only before she could exit the Ro32 as first in her group.

This left Crank and ROOT team-mates puCK and Minigun to fight for the very last spot in the Ro16. Minigun was the first to go out losing 1-2 in the ROOT team-kill in the losers match-up which put puCK against Crank in the decider. The American would give a strong showing against the Axiom captain but eventually he would suffer a loss in three games, letting another Korean pass through.

This completes the Ro32 of WCS America and the Ro16 are soon to be drawn. The league is scheduled to return in two weeks time, having Group A on October 14th.
