[s]interview[/s]

One of the huge profiles of Warcraft IIIs early history, King.Crimson has decided to get himself back in action! GosuGamers grabbed him for an interview.

The Romanian Human player has been a big profile in the Warcraft scene mostly by being a big talker, but not to forget also a great player. Some years ago he traveled around the world, playing many of the best players in events such as WCG and WC3L with great success. Just recently a statement was released which spoke of the return of the Romanian, and of course we choose to look him up. In the middle of all activity in the WC3L Players channel we could see him discussing tactics, match-ups and the game in general – clear evidence of his newly found activity!

"I receive quite a few offers, a couple of them from WC3L teams"

GosuGamers: Hello, and welcome back to the scene!
- Hi, it's good to be back! :)

GosuGamers: Might wanna introduce yourself together with some history for the big crowd that recently got stuck with this game and got no experiences with you?
- Ok. I'm Alex Andrei, 19 years old and come from Romania. During my prime, in 2004, I managed to place top 16 at WCG San Francisco, among other achievements. Most people remember me due to the anthological game between me and MaDFroG, played in the group stages of WCG.

GosuGamers: You won that series against him right?
- No! That's why the game became so famous. I lost a 99.99% won game! :).

GosuGamers: You have already been written a short statement of your recent activity but could you please tell the readers why you quitted from this wonderful game in the first place?
- I think I briefly explained my decision in that statement. The highschool end-exams, coupled with the dreadfully exhausting exams I had to give in order to enter film directing school pretty much forced to quit the game. But I was never the same afterwards. In fact, I never really quit. Just after I finished my college admission exams, the first thing I did was tell my parents to book me a flight to Stockholm, so I could go play in the WEG qualifier.

GosuGamers: Ok, how active are you now, after the comeback?
- As active as I could be. These last couple of weeks I played all day and also been thinking about strategies in my sleep as well. But it still feels like it's not enough. I have a lot to recover if I want to climb to the very top. But I'm confident.

GosuGamers: How would you compare your current skill level with the ones playing in WC3L, and not to forget your own former level?
- I would say I’m playing at about 90% of my former level. But the general skill level of the other players increased since the last time I was active. However, I won't let this discourage me. I see it as a challenge, and I will rise up to it.

GosuGamers: Sounds like a necessary attitude! Got contact with any known teams?
- Yes, as a matter of fact, I received quite a few offers, a couple from wc3l teams. I'll give it some time to think, and make the best decision possible.

GosuGamers: Last question, how will you perform in the last Incup of the season which will be played today?
If I receive some divine intervention and the stars are aligned to shine upon me, maybe I win :)

GosuGamers: Thanks for the interview, any last shout-outs?
- Yeah, I’d like to give a shout-out to the entire community for being so supportive and embracing my comeback. I won't let you down guys!
