WCS Europe continues to deliver an upset after an upset. After the elimination of Naniwa, TLO and Sase and Happy's killer performance, yesterday StarCraft 2 fans witnessed the ousting of Season 1 champion Mvp at the hands of ShoWTimE.

The WCS Europe viewership stood aghast on the night of September 5th as the group with two clear favorites did not end according to community's expectations as the line-up of Vortix, Mvp, Showtime and Noname suggested the advancement of the former two.

The opening of the group was in line of that prediction as Vortix blanked Noname but the unexpected events did not lag behind too much. In the second opening match of the week, Europe S1 champion Mvp suffered a 1-2 loss to Premier league newcomer Showtime and set the stage for the weird end results a few hours later.

Coming off his 2-0 win, Vortix coined another one against Showtime and easily settled himself on the top of the group while Korean's struggles continued. A 2-0 against Noname won him another round of life only to put him against the German Protoss once again. The exact same situation would repeat itself as Showtime took the first and third sets, ultimately leaving Mvp out of premier league after two consecutive appearances.
