The GSL finalist and STX's star Terran pulled his team out of a two-game deficit and engineered a comeback against Woongjin Stars, dealing them their second 3-4 loss in a row.
Woongjin opened the series as they've always liked to do - lining up their Protoss vanguard first - and it got them very close to victory. Free's audacious double proxy gateways right into Dear's main and his blink rush against Mini combined with Sos' hampering zealot warp-ins against Hyvaa put the Proleague leaders at 3-1 and STX had to summon their strongest weapon to save them.
Like he's done many times this season, Innovation did not let his team down and displayed supremacy in all three match-ups. After avenging Hyvaa making short work of sOs, Innovation proceeded to deal death by hellbats to Light and once again proved his invincibility in TvZ by trampling Soulkey, making a loud statement for what the GSL finals this Saturday might turn out like. This also puts Innovation on 11-3 in maps this round alone.
Despite their loss today, Woongjin Stars are still in the lead, good four wins and more than 20 points ahead of the runner-ups KT Rolster and SK Telecom T1. One week before the end of round five, Woongjin Stars will get the chance to increase their lead even further as they play Samsung KHAN on May 30th, a team they've been traditionally strong against with an overall score of 16-4, two all-kills included.
