The faith of the two was decided last night in the first day of WCS EU challenger group stage. By June 5th, said circuit is to determine the last eight players to climb up to premier league, joining the top eight finalists from last season and the winners of the challenger bracket stage.

Only two spots per group are given and the Korea presence last night made sure to get the first one. Going through Socke 2-0 and slicing through Vortix in the winners match 2-1, Tails recovered from his loss to Bly in the previous round and put the number of Korean participants in the premier league to four.

 Vortix himself had to play two games against Noname to finish second in the group - first in the opening match and second in the rubber series after the Russian Terran had eliminated Socke from the league altogether. Vortix scored a 2-1 in the first and 2-0 in the second series and regains his premier league status.

Another challenger group is to be played today at 18:00 CET. Opening matches are Sase vs Monchi and Beastyqt vs Elfi.
