SCForAll recently unveiled a new tournament titled 'Stamina', which will be open to any player outside of Korea. Five hundred dollars in cash prizes are available to the top three finishers.
The tournament will be taking place entirely on ICCup, with an eighteen day ladder period to determine the top 28 players. This period is scheduled to begin December 18th at 17:05 CET. To participate in the ladder you will need to create a non-smurf account at ICCup with zero games played, as well as an account on SCForAll.com with the same name.
The ladder period will end on January 5th KST, and at that time the top 28 players will be seeded into a 32 man tournament. The extra four players will be the top four finishers from the Spirit tournament who are not already included in Stamina's top 28.
Final tournament begins January 11th
Starting at 21:00 on January 11th, the final 32 man tournament will begin with a best-of-three format until after the round of eight which will be best-of-five. The maps for the best-of-three will be Destination, Medusa, and Colosseum II with Sin Chupung Reyong being included in the best-of-five.
The top finisher will receive $300. Second place is $150, and third place gets $50. Fourth place receives a pat on the back, which can be redeemed with a visit to South Korea.
How you can play
In order to play, you will need to:
- Create an account on ICCup. Do not play any games on it. Also create an account at SCForAll with the same name. Smurfing is prohibited in this tournament.
- Request to join this team. As long as the ladder period has begun you are free to begin playing before you are officially accepted into the team. All games must be played with the anti-hack launcher.
