The long time eSTRO coach Daniel Lee has left his team behind to work behind the scenes in e-sports at SCForAll.com
Daniel Lee has been involved in the Brood War scene a lot longer than most people realize, as he has just come to light more recently with Idras' move to his team. But Lee has been the corner stone of non-Korean pro gaming pretty much since its inception, and has continued to give to the section of the community since. Having coached Hexatron with a full foreign lineup inlcuding Rekrul, Grr..., Legionnaire, Assem, and Elky he has gotten quite a lot of experience.
SCForAll.com Gains a Valuable Ally
Now that he has stepped down from his post at eSTRO, Daniel Lee will be taking a position at SCForAll.com for a company called IEG. IEG launced SCForAll.com recently this year (IEG owns eSTRO as well) and has since, hosted some very interesting tournaments. Of course with the help of travelling sensation PuertoRican and now Daniel Lee, things should really start to heat up over there.
eSTRO Brings in Former Terran Pro
Kim Hyun Jin a.k.a. kOs has been brought in to bolster the ranks of eSTRO, hopefully he can help them to pick up a few games since they are in last place in Pro League. With no player likely to win a Star League as well, things look grim. Also it is unknown how American gamer Greg Fields a.k.a. IdrA will fare without his English speaking mentor found in Daniel. Assuming he gets a translator it may be hard for him to cope without the guidance of someone like Daniel who understands the mindset of "fresh meat".
