SoJu defeated his team mate Lyn in the semi final, while Creolophus took down his team mate Grubby in his semi final match. Now the two Night Elves were to clash in an epic showdown. Last year Lucifer took the crown - now it stands between the Korean SoJu and the Norwegian player Creolophus.
First game was played on Turtle Rock, both players using Night Elf of course. The two are positioned close to each other, and they both creep the green creeps. After some minutes the two Night Elves clash, but they don't lose anything except for Demon Hunter hit points. Once they pop second tier, Creolophus goes Naga Sea Witch first, and stays at the tavern along with seven Archers. Creolophus starts to tech to bears. Soju heads for the middle, and does not see that Creo is there, his units hiding in the dark. Creolophus manages to surround the Korean World Elite player's Sea Witch. Soju is quick in using the Staff of Preservation to get her home.
Soju has added an Ancient of War to creep and then takes his expansion spot. The creeps drop a HP potion, and after a while Soju walks towards Creolophus' base with a handful of Ancient of Wars and his heroes. It turns into a tough fight, where Soju comes on top after taking down Creo's Druids of the Claws and an Ancient of War it's over. 1-0 to Soju.
Second game is played on Twisted Meadows, where Creolophus goes for Priestess of the Moon and two Ancient of Wars and starts pumping Huntresses. As soon as the map goes into night mode he expands. Soju goes for Demon Hunter and Archers and goes to Creo's home to harass. He takes a couple of flings on the Priestess, but without taking her down. While at home, Soju techs to tier 2 and hires a Pandaren Brewmaster who creeps up to level 3. Soju continues to harass Creolophus and tires to take down the expansion but it still won't go down.
Creolophus adds a couple of more Archers along with his eight Huntresses, while Soju adds Dryads to his Archer/Demon Hunter/Pandaren army. At 50 pop, Soju attacks the main base of Creolophus, who just hit tier 2. Creolophus looks chanceless with only Huntresses and Archers and no scrolls. The Panda on Level 3 with two mana potions takes down Creolophus' weak army. After a failed attempt to make dryads in his expansion, Creolophus types out, giving Soju the victory.
In the consolation match, Grubby defeated Lyn with 2-1.
