White-Ra is in a super position in his group, taking down both Stork and FiRe. One might think Stork threw the game away and when GosuGamers asked him he said simply replied 'no'. The Beast from the East now has two matches left, ThuocLao and Ex. Should he win one of those he is sure to advance.
Stork, ranked as the best Korean player according to KESPA was the total favorite coming in to World Cyber Games. His first opponent in Group F was White-Ra, the Ukrainian player ending Top 8 last year playing a very tight game versus iloveoov. The GosuBets statistics gave us a 20 percentage on White-Ra while the rest thought Stork would win it. The majority of the comments said that he had no chance at all.
But White-Ra proved them wrong, and defeated the Korean progamer in a Protoss mirror match on Azalea. It seems likely to assume that Stork thew away the game away because he wanted to end in second place of the group so he would not have to face Hwasin in the playoff and instead have a non-korean bracket way to the finals. GosuGamers asked Stork after the game if it was a throw-game or not, and the translator was very insistent about it not being the case.
