Bets were fairly even going into the match, XiaOzI being the slight favourite. This was not to be a standard fare of gaming though, as both players experimented, even switching races with each other in the second match, to the confusion of some spectators.
It was a close set of games that went to the wire after both players were unable to knock out two straight wins against the other until XiaOzi managed to take it in the last match.
