In what has become an annual rite of passage the last few years, Jonathan Duhamel, the 2010 WSOP Main Event winner, has become the latest PokerStars Team Pro.
Duhamel is the first Canadian winner of the WSOP Main Event and joins Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem, and Tom Mcevoy as previous Main Event winners on the PokerStars Team Pro roster.
While Duhamel won nearly $9 million dollars in November, he is hungry to validate his Main Event win with other live success. His cash game play will take a back seat as his traveling and poker ambassador duties will keep him busy in 2011.
"It's a dream come true." Dhumal said. "I want to be playing the biggest tournaments in the world, and I'm going to do my best to pull off another big score."
