The GOMTV STAR Invitational continues to produce surprises as Jaedong would come in second place in his group and Boxer would not finish dead last.

In a surprsing last game for Much[gm] on BaekmaGoji, he would bulldoze over n.Die_Jaedong with an aggressive styled play, completing an all-kill for the CJ Entus captain. Jaedong's only offensive would be a little mutalisk harass, but he would concede to Much's forces in the end. Although with the loss Jaedong does not lose completely. Now that he comes in second place in his group, he avoids having to play against fellow teammate AnyTime[gm] in the quarter-finals. Some users on the GSI Forums have suggested that this is indeed the case.

Boxer's Legacy
It was great news for all SlayerS_Boxer fans around the world when it was announced that he would be playing in this tournament, but in a group such as this one no one expected him to do well. In his second game versus the heavy favourite Jaedong it became very clear how bad of a shape he was in. Losing in less than 5 minutes, all hope was slowly fading for Boxer. However in the last game of the night he would show us that "Impossible is Nothing" and would take out [ReD]NaDa in Terran versus Terran match up on BaekmaGoji. He would once again show us why he was indeed the Emperor.

Tomorrow's group will start off with stork vs. IriS[gm] on Blue Storm at the same time, same place, same GOMTV player. The heavy favourite of this group is stork, who is currently ranked 2nd on the KeSPA rankings. He has done very well in the Baccus OSL thus far, but dropped a game in the Grand Final of the Shinhan ProLeague 2007 in his team's 1-4 to Lecaf OZ.
