GosuGamers found a pretty upset Dreiven after the last game of the final and we had a quick talk with him about DreamHack itself, the tournament and the Grand Final.

The Grand Final of this years DreamHack Winter tournament ended with not so much an upset as a surprise, when the leading favourite MYM.Dreiven from Poland lost to the Swedish Zerg player HayprO 3-2. The Polish Protoss player tells GosuGamers that he really enjoyed DreamHack itself, the biggest LAN in the world and that he thinks it has been a great event.
- It is the most amazing computer event I've seen.

He is also very satisfied with the tournament and the GosuGamers crew on spot. The only thing he could complain about was that he had to play a lot of games in a row, which made him lose his focus. He did expect to win this tournament he says, but the lack of rest between the games made it harder.
- I just lost concentration. We played one game after another, the last one was the ninth game with the same player, in a row.
What do you have against your observers, you kept storming them - While controlling my units, I binded my obs with the army, so it was going with the army into the battle. When I noticed I was like "WTF am I doing!?".
The tournament itself hardly started until the quarter finals though, since Dreiven got a pretty easy bracket to begin with, with the highest seed. He says that there were a lot of decent players, but that he was expecting tougher opponents earlier in the tournament. Neither was he very nervous going into the winner bracket final versus HayprO, they played last time about two years ago, and he was not too good then.

Watching the loser bracket final with HayprO facing datoby, Dreiven actually thought he would have to face datoby in the grand final. And he was almost looking forward to it, since he's pretty tired of the Protoss verus Zerg matchup itself.
- I would rather have played datoby. I was already thinking about which strats to use versus him while watching the loser bracket final. First thought when the match ended was acually "Oh no, not HayprO again!".

“"Oh no, not HayprO again!

- Dreiven about facing
HayprO in the final

Asked about the first game in the Grand Final Dreiven tells us that he expected a rush, but he did not think that HayprO would use the drones, and that was about it, the game was won by HayprO pretty quick. After losing the first game, however, it was Dreiven's turn to gain some points again, and he ended up winning the second one, after another rush from HayprO.
- I scouted it early, so I saw his hydras and it was GG when he lost his attack.

He does not have much to say about the next game but when it comes to the last one he keeps saying that he lost because of one single mistake. He expected the harass like the last games, but somehow he missed the lurker drop in his main, and after that it just went downhill. Despite all this he is satisfied with his stay in Sweden, even though the weather was pretty bad, and he only saw what was on the way to Elmia from the hotel.
So what happens in the future for you? Just waiting for SC2 is the easiest answer I guess. I'll train for leagues etc, I got girlfriend too so I don't have too much time, I play 1-2 hours a day at most.
So will Dreiven come back to DreamHack? Hopefully he says, but as it is a matter of money, the decision will be made by MeetYourMakers and whether they like would to send him there again.
