After going one game down to ViCi, NewBee pull out three wins in a row with the last game ending in just 15 minutes. With this victory they are the champions of The International 2014, taking the title, the Aegis and over $1 million each, which is the biggest prize in competitive gaming to date.

NewBee vs ViCi Gaming

Game One

00.00 - The drafting phase has just started.
00.00 - The heroes have been selected. VG went for a tanky lineup with Brewmaster, Lone Druid and Clockwerk, while NewBee selected their signature Lifestealer along with Alchemist and Nature's Prophet. Ancient Apparition was also picked by NewBee, a hero that is often used to counter bulky opponents using Chilling Touch early.
2:00 - FIRST BLOOD - A wellplaced Fissure wall trapped banana's Lion in a very bad place, resulting in his death to Sylar's Spirit Bear. Fy went down for VG Gaming, but his teleport rotation to the bottom lane brought the death of xiao8 as well.
5:00 - The early game is going extremely well for ViCi Gaming! Super's first ultimate resulted in a double kill at the middle lane, while another rotation by Fy against xiao8 was successful as well. The score is now 5-1 for VG.
7:00 - Another rotation against Mu, two more kills for ViCi Gaming. Sylar goes down for the first time to xiao8 at the top lane.
8:00 - Nice hookshot from rOtk, catches and slays Mu once again. rOtk's score is currently 4-0.
9:00 - A gank on Hao goes wrong as he conceals himself in the trees, buying enough time for the TP rotation that brings Super, his predator, down.
13:00 -  A four-man gank on against Hao goes well, and the first tier-one tower goes down for VG. NewBee have also destroyed one tower themselves, the bottom tier-one.
15:00 - Another rotation against Mu, another death for the mid player of NewBee. The score is now 11-3 in favor of VG.
17:00 - A grave mistake by NewBee! Hao's careless teleport in five heroes causes his demise, along with three of his teamates that tried to save him! NewBee loses four heroes and the two middle outer towers.
18:00 - The first good news in a while for NewBee's fans, as Earthshaker gets picked-off by Hao while farming his Blink Dagger. However, VG manages to grab a free Roshan in the meantime.
19:00 - The bottom tier-two tower gets brought down by VG, and it seems that NewBee will try to split-push to victory as they managed to deal significant damage to the top tier-two tower of their enemy.
21:00 - VG attempts to breach the Radiant base through the top lane, and they manage to take down five heroes in total and force several buybacks by their opponents. However, the defend is successful as the barracks are still standing.
24:00 - GG! VG's second consecutive attempt against the top barracks is successful, as they managed to win a 4-2 teamfight and NewBee lacked the buybacks to defend their barracks! Xiao8 decided to forfeit the match as Sylar was finishing off the melee barracks.

Game Two

00:00 - The drafting phase has started.
00:00 - The drafting is now over. ViCi Gaming selected Nature's Prophet, Morphling and Viper as their cores, while NewBee selected Weaver, Brewmaster and offlane Alchemist.
2:40 - FIRST BLOOD - Much like the first game, a good Fissure results in the first blood. This time, it is NewBee that takes down rOtk's Nature's Prophet.
6:00 - VG dives too deep to take down Xiao8, and four heroes teleport to help their teammate. Super manages to pop Primal Split at 30 HP and turns the fight around, resulting in the death of three heroes for ViCi.
7:00 - Using the freshly earned Ancient Appartition ultimate, Sylar is brought down by the Fissure - Ice Blast - Thunder Clap spell chain from NewBee.
10:00 - A three-man defense squad from NewBee attempts to protect their low-HP bottom tier-one, and they manage to slay rOtk and Super. Sylar escapes with his life, while xiao8 goes down in return. The tower then gets denied by Brew.
13:00 - Super gets ganked and killed by three at the bottom lane, but Hao is also slain near his mid tier-one tower. The TP-response by NewBee is enough to take Sylar's life for the second time.
15:00 - It seems that VG's current strategy is centered around tower demolition, as they are playing quite passively. An attempt against the top tier-one tower goes wrong as three heroes teleport to defend, and despite a well-timed Epicenter by Fenrir, NewBee wins another 3-1 engangement.
18:00 - A lengthy teamfight takes place inside the Radiant jungle! VG's concentrated fire brings the death of both Mu and Banana, but Hao and Xiao8 manage to deal enough damage to take down three. Super ended the fight by slaying the retreating SanSheng, while Hao and xiao8 choose to escape instead of going for more.
20:00 - Another offensive venture inside the Radiant jungle by NewBee. This time everything goes as planned, as Sylar, rOtk and Super get caught off-guard and killed without any resistance.
22:00 - Sylar's Morphling and Fenrir's Sand King jump on xiao8, taking him down in two seconds with Epicenter. Hao and Mu arrive to help their captain, taking down Fenrir in return.
24:00 - Three more kills go to VG's way, as both Fenrir and Fy get slain near the Radiant Ancients, while Sylar gets picked-off while split-pushing the bottom lane.
26:00 - GG! NewBee wins yet another 4-0 teamfight under the bottom tier-two tower, and the GG is called by VG as they realise their opponent is just too far ahead.

Game Three

00:00 - The drafting phase has started.
00:00 - The picks are now complete! NewBee opted once again for Weaver, Alchemist as well as Puck, while the cores of ViCi Gaming are Venomancer, Nature's Prophet and the unusual (for VG) Ember Spirit. It is notable that Banana managed to get his hands on his signature Chen.
3:00 - FIRST BLOOD - NewBee's three-man rotation against Sylar is fruitful and the Nature's Prophet goes down, but Hao gets slain seconds later. Super also attempts to grab a solo-kill on Mu, but he overextends and dies to the tower.
6:00 - Four heroes rotate to the top lane by each team for the first big teamfight of the game. Fenrir is the first to go down by Banana and SanSheng, but Super's rotation brings the deaths of both of them. Hao and Mu then join the fight, taking down both rOtk and Super.
9:00 - A gank at the bottom lane by VG goes wrong as Mu and Hao rotate and manage to kill both rOtk and Sylar, saving SanSheng as well.
10:00 - The middle tier-one tower gets destroyed by NewBee, the first of the game for both teams. The score is now 7-3 in favor of NewBee.
12:00 - VG attack the farming xiao8 and quickly take him down, but again Hao and Mu teleport and kill both Sylar and Fenrir.
14:00 - Another favorable teamfight for NewBee. Despite the double Sprout and Searing Chains combo by VG, Sylar, fy and Super go down in exchange for SanSheng.
17:00 - GG!! VG's sneaky Roshan attempt gets intercepted, and they lose a teamfight inside the Roshan pit! The GG is instantly called as Roshan was about to fall to NewBee!

Game Four

0:00 - The draft begins!

0:00 - Unpeturbed by last game's loss, Vici decide to pick up Ancient Apparation and Nature's Prophet to try and use their global prescence, split-push and counter push to better effect this time. They follow up with Weaver, possibly as a counter pick to Hao, as well as Sand King to give them a bit more team fight. The final Venomancer pick confirms that Vici will probably try and heavily split push their way through the game. Newbee decide to pick fantastic team fighting heroes, choosing Doom, Brewmaster, Ember Spirit along with some great lock down from Rubick and Shadow Shaman.

0:34 - FIRST BLOOD Rotk gets three man ganked at mid and with Doom distracting the Vici supports in the jungle, the first kill goes the way of Newbee

3:30 - Doom gets ganked in the Dire jungle, but Rotk actually goes down again in the middle of it. Vici manage to kill Doom, but Ember Spirit gets a double kill, taking out Sylar as well

5:18 - Sylar goes down again, getting ganked in the top and unable to escape the lock down provided by Rubick and Shadow Shamn

4:40 - Courier killed by a neutral in the Dire jungle, as Fy tries to find some farm!

9:30 - Hao kills Rotk againat mid with help from Rubick

11:26 - Fight breaks out at mid, with Doom initiating on Venomancer and quickly killine him off. The chase continues and Sylar gets caught up to and killed, but not before a last ditch attempt from Fy by Blinking in and landing an Epicenter

12:50 - Newbee extend their lead to 12-2

13:34 - Vici try and force a tower at bottom lane, using their split push line up, but Newbee move very quickly to respond and take three kills to stop the push

15:00 GG! - Newbee try a push of their own, using the Serpent Wards and manage to kill off almost all of the Vici team as they rey and defend. Vici realise they are too far behind and can't do anything to defend. GG is called and Newbee are the TI4 champions!
