Congratulations to the victory! You were placed in the spotlight again, winning the last match. How did it feel?
- I actually did not want to play the Chinese laggers. Thus I wanted SquaLL to play but whole team said I must play it although I didn't feel like it since I do not support lags at all. But well... the team demanded it so I had to stick to it and I didn't want to let them down!
Tell me about the match versus hbq. Terran versus Zerg, were you confident?
- Of course I was confident. I like to play under pressure, that makes the game a lot more funnier! ;)
Tell me about the match. What happened and what made you win it?
- Nothing special happened so far, both went for quite normal build order. hbq went for 2 rax fast expansion into mms / tanks / vessels etc, while I went for 3 hatch expansion with fast +1 carapace with lurkers and ovi drop + speed added. Then there was a fight where I forced him to retreat with his ~ 18 mms and in the meantime I dropped his main with 6 lurker and 18 lings. Besides I dropped 2 lurkers at the expansion which killed almost all of his scvs. After that I was just a matter of time until he surrenders.
You said earlier in the channel that people lagging shouldn't be allowed to play in leagues such as this. Would you care to elaborate on that statement?
- I'll gladly do that. In my opinion laggers should not be allowed to play. I mean, even if it isn't their fault (which it isn't mostly anyway) they should just say: "okay, don't put me in lineup I'm lagging". That's at least what I would do since it just fucks up the game. You feel bad for each bad micro move you can blame on lag, and all your motivation goes down and down. Brood War wasn't created to play under laggy circumstances.
What are you going to do with the 400 Euro prize money?
- As usual, we're going to split it between the entire active Brood War players. Either that or we're gonna host another internal tourney where we play for that money like we did once before. I just remembered that (I probably didn't remember at first because I lost in like.. round 2? ;D)
What will you remember the most from this FBL season?
- Definitely the Grand Final vs MeetYourMakers. It was full of tension, I mean: 1-0 lead, tie, 2-1 lead, tie, 3-2 lead, tie, and then the ultimate deciding game. Was very funny clan war =]
Some say that Testie and SEn didn't play due to diplomatic causes, meaning they don't want to play their old team. If this was the case, what do you think such an act?
- It was not due to diplomatic causes, I can assure that. Sen probably overslept like he SOMETIMES does, although he's very reliable cute Taiwanese! <3 And Testie... Testie... Mr. Dodger didn't dare to take that deciding game against me I guess ! <3 He said he was tired, he still got some jet lag of China etc. Let's just believe him :D <3
Does this win feel less deserving with neither Testie nor SEn taking part?
- I don't really care about their lineup. Either way they lost the clan war, no discussion about the lineup. It is their choice who they put in lineup and not ours. We brought a very nice lineup with some surprises for some I guess and it worked out perfectly. Namely we probably did not bring our best line up either (according to the public) but we brought the lineup which made us win. That's the key point and therefore we deserve to win and it feels as good as if MYM used Sen or Testie.
But those player I put in lineup I'm fully convinced they win today. That's why we often change lineups etc. because everyone wants to play and those who didn't play too much yet are keen on playing and I totally believe in everyone.
Any last words?
- I wanna thank all of my ToTies for always showing up, even for incredible bad times like 7am or late at night. Everyone got his chance, some more, some less, and everyone is satisfied. Thanks a lot ToTies =]!

Mondragon lead his men to victory. The last deciding game versus hbq was won by the German Zerg player. 400 € down in the pocket.
- As usual, we're going to split it between the players, says a happy Mondragon.
