We entered the tournament area today, and we met up with the Korean Terran player iloveoov, standing and watching the basketball action where Germany played Canada. We talked to slog4 and he agreed on helping us with the translation. iloveoov seemed pretty happy coming to Italy, and he was in a good mood. He is in Group A together with Legionnaire. Though he mentioned Legionnaire's name a lot, he said that the player he would like to play the most is the Canadian player Testie. oov recalled that he remembers a game where he played against Testie on Battle.net and that he lost. Now he wants revenge. And depending on how the groups will turn out they might just meet.
Koreans ususally don't have that much time preparing for World Cyber Games because of all the other tournaments and leagues they're in. iloveoov is not an exception. He says that he did not prepare that much for it, but that the maps are pretty easy to understand and have a general opinion on what strategies to use. They are easy maps, but good ones. We also asked him about any players he thought had a chance in winning, apart from the Koreans. He mentions Testie, Mondragon, Peter (Legionnaire) and after a little help with finding the nickname - Draco.
iloveoov mentioned that the toughest part of WCG is qualifying for the three spots available to them. Once the Korean players have gone through the qualifiers, it climbing through the groups isn't that hard considering they are progamers - living and breathing the game.

Other known names in the group is the Bulgarian player LaMeR and LoWeLy from Belarus. It will be interesting to see if any player will be able to nudge iloveoov.
