With day two having come to a close, the tournament is ready to move into its final phase. Two players have been eliminated, and MarineKing stands firmly at the top of the hill.
Day two's competition was essentially a continuation of day one's melee, with the main body of players struggling to crawl their way out of the losing spots and MKP easily holding the high ground. The first players out, HuK and, unexpectedly, PartinG, are sure to have disappointed protoss enthusiasts, who must now look to MC to carry their flag.
In other news, last night's 2v2 tournament produced unsurprising results, as MC and DongRaeGu overcame first MKP and HuK and later PartinG and GanZi to take the win. Interestingly, the two winners will face each other later today for a spot in the semifinals.
