In the red corner, Savior
The zerg that has been tearing up every league he has been in. He's the reason CJ Entus made it to the final of the second season of the 2006 SKY ProLeague. He's in the MSL final vs Bisu on March third. He has three titles in the MSL already, but this is his first time in the OSL.
Savior did not have an easy path to the finals however. He started in the group of Midas, Light and ChoJJa. He advanced with a 2-1 score after losing to Midas. Midas, confident after his group win picked (as is his right as group winner) Savior as his opponent for the round of 16 knockout stage. Bad mistake. Savior won 2-1 and advanced into the quarterfinals where he finished off team mate Much with a 2-0 score. In the semifinals he faced his team mate IriS, in what everyone thought would be a walk over. IriS made it close though, but still lost 3-2. Coming into the final he is clearly confident.
Savior in his prefinal interview: "I am very confident. Nada has nothing on me. I believe he won't be able to take me lightly. It's going to be fun. I believe it's only right for Nada to be intimidated by my force (form). I lack nothing that Nada has. Now, I think I can be called the best at SC yes. I will defend it in the future as well."
In the blue corner, NaDa
The terran that is the most decorated player ever. He has three MSL wins and three OSL wins. He is also the reigning OSL champion. For his third OSL win, he got the golden mouse. Traditionally the previous OSL winner is cursed to a quick exit, but the golden mouse apparently counter acts that. He has shown time and time again that his is hungry for his fourth OSL title and that he is in shape.
NaDa was in the group of iloveoov, Much and DonGraE. He didn't impress and had to go to the wild card rounds after only beating DonGraE. In that round he beat FireBatHero and Light to qualify for the round of 16, where he was picked by UpMagic. He won that match 2-1 and proceeded with the same score against YellOw[ArnC] in the quarters. In the semifinal he met Casy and won 3-2. If Savior had it rough, NaDa went through hell getting to the final. He played close games and matches pretty much all the way.
NaDa in his prefinal interview, prior to Savior qualifying: "I want to face Savior of course. I want to take revenge on him. I want him to advance to the finals and face me. The anti-fan's words actually became my strength. I was able to internalize words like "Nada is lucky", "Nada can't do this and that well" and turn it into my strength. I owe my advancement to the finals to the antifans' power. I badly wanted to show them my real skills to them."
NaDa: wanting his fourth OSL title. Savior: ?
In an interview of Hwasin and IriS about this final, IriS says that it will be 50/50. He also says that NaDa should have an advantage on Reverse Temple and Longinus II, while HitchHiker and Neo Arkanoid favors Savior. Hwasin agrees with the map asessment and says that NaDa must shut Savior out 3-0. Otherwise Savior will win.
