The roster for the China Dota2 Asian Games team has been announced including Ame, Somnus, Chalice, XinQ, 皮球, pyw, and LaNm (coach).

The 2022 Asian Games, officially known as the 19th Asian Games, also known as Hangzhou 2022, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia.

More than 27 players from China were identified as candidates to compete for the national team —which can be found HERE.

The final line-up was selected by Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF).

The and the , in conjunction with all the related IPs and from March 30 until June 6, started the Asian Games esports coaches and players selection process. A total of 27 coaches registered, where 5 of them were chosen; a total of 125 esports athletes joined the selection process, while only 31 of them were selected. The 2022 Asian Games was initially scheduled in 2022, but was postponed to 2023 due to concerns over COVID-19 in China.

The International Olympic Committee recognizes the event as the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympics. 

Esports was originally added to the Asian Games sports program at the OCA General Assembly in Muscat, Oman on December 16, 2020. The first esports game played in Asian Games was played at the 19th Asian Games in Indonesia in 2018. However, those games were not a medaled event, just a demonstration tournament.

The Asian Electronic Sports Federation, which is based in Hong Kong, China, has been appointed Technical Delegate of the esports competition at the 19th Asian Games by the OCA. The AESF will be in charge of the qualifying competition and for the operation and management of the esports competition in Hangzhou.
