The nominations for the GosuGamers Awards 2006 are in, and now we present the five teams that received the most nominations.



"Is awarded to a clan or national team that played the biggest part during the year. The team that has showed great skill, consistency and sympathy is awarded in this category."

The nominations have been received and counted, and now we present the top five nominees for the Team of the Year. You will be able to vote for two (2) days, then the winner will be presented. When the winner is presented, we will start with next category - Game of the Year.

BossClub

Above Frontiers of Mind joined up with the organization BossClub in October and have since them dominated the clan scene. Winning the GosuGamers FragBet League, WGTour Clan League Season 13, FishServer Clan League and their players winning various individual tournaments make them of the hot candidates for winning Team of the Year.

Templars of Twilight

won last year's 'Clan of the Year' award, and this year they are nominated once again. In March 2006 they
won the ESL Clan League more known as SCCL. The team has not played as many clan wars compared to last year but still house some of the best players outside of Korea and was popular enough to be nominated this year as well.

MicroGamerZ

In early March the French-based team MicroGamerZ won the World Team Cup over RSGaming. Over the year they have shown to be solid in many of the clan wars played. They challenged Korean guilds on U.S. West and showed they could measure up to their level. They have a massive lineup and have many players housing from National teams, especially from Poland. They ended third in the FragBet League, losing to BossClub in the semi final. They also ended as runner-up in Season 13, marking themselves as one of the most successful teams during the year.

MeetYourMakers

Launched in 2005, MeetYourMakers recruited several of the top players in the scene. They recruited top Chinese players, and the now Polish progamer Draco to only mention a few. They ended second in FragBet Season 1, losing to Templars of Twilight in the Grand Final. Lead by Archi, zzZz and Ash the team has shown they are one of the best. Having a bit of roster issues at the moment, which have crippled them in BWCL Premier League.

Team Poland

Has been the domination national team over the whole year, taking down pretty much every national team. They did, just as MicroGamerZ and ToT did this year play against Korean guilds and proved their strength. They took the first World Domination title against Germany, but was then defeated by Sweden. Their B team has also proven themselves to be one of the best B teams out there. Team Poland also won the HOT 3vs3 World Championship and the East-Central Europe Cup.
