[s]interview[/s]

ReasoN recently finished second in the Brazil WCG finals behind Odin. With that he qualified for the WCG Grandfinals in Monza, Italy. GosuGamers event manager VeSSeL-X caught him for an interview.

Please introduce yourself

Paulo Cesar, 20 years old, Zerg, Bauru – São Paulo

What do you think about the WCG brazil this year?

I think this WCG was the same as last year, but this year many new players trained so much and had good results. All of them had trained so much to try to go to Italy, I was confident and also playing better than last year, but I had a connection problem and this last 2 months before WCG brazil and I couldnt train and this discourage me so much..i was impressed when I manage to be in the 2nd place this year, although all had chances to win this year, because all of them has trained a lot.

The best example of these players who trained a lot was uT)Deefy, he managed to be in the 3rd place this year, eliminating some players like uT)kelsen, uT)StarDeath and uT)BlackMaster who was favorites to win the WCG this year, do you think that uT)Deefy is a great name to win the WCG next year?

Im sure about that, he has a great potencial to do that. He was unlucky to get a Zerg Player in his way to win this year , because his worst match is pvz, I think he could managed to win a trip to Italy this year since he elimated 3 favorites in his way to the 3rd place.

Do you intend to train after this WCG to play importants tourneys next year like the WCG 2007?

Really I dunno what I will do after this WCG, this connection problem discouraged me so much, I was at a great level this year, and these things happened to me before the WCG and it made me lose all the spent time to train. I think i’m going to Italy only to travel since the WCG Italy is so near and I dont know how to fix my connection, so I cant prepare myself to Italy.

What do you expect from WCG Italy? Do you think that Odin has a chance to make unless a 3rd place? Who are the favorites to win this year?

The 3 favorites to win is obviously to me, they are the koreans Iloveoov, JulyZerg and Midas. This year the representants of Korea are much stronger than the koreans last year, I think that will be so difficult any foreign win vs one of them. I think that because I play only in the west server with the koreans and I think that the level of west server are much better than others servers, so I think that will be difficult anyone win them. I think if Odin continue training, he will pass the group stage and do a great WCG.

We wish you two the best in WCG and hope you represent Brazil well. Do you want to say anything to anyone?

I want to say thank you for the interview and I promise that I will do my best although im not prepared, I will give my best to represent brazil in the best way possible. I would like to greet my brazillian team Gt.X) and my west team SaSiN), thank you.

The other players in SaSiN)ReasoN's WCG group are: Androide, Technics, SteelHeart, Jaystar and ZergRaptor.
