The Turkish side defeated PENTA 2-1 in the grand finals and became the champions of $20,000 online tournament.

Having commenced on March 27th with the group stage, Binary Dragons csgopolygon Season 1 featured sixteen teams including the likes of  Team LDLC,  HellRaisers,  Epsilon,  FlipSid3 Tactics and  Team Kinguin. The first surprise of the tournament came when LDLC were eliminated in the group stage, falling behind of Tricked and PENTA. In addition to LDLC, HellRaisers withdrew despite topping their group, creating more space for the underdogs to make deeper runs.

The eventual champions, Space Soldiers, bested Epsilon and FlipSid3, 2-1 on during both series to make it to the grand finals where the Turks faced PENTA Sports. Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend's side had been looking in shape, beating iGame.com and PRIDE 2-0 and 2-1 respectively, but in the first map of the grand finals, Space Soldiers crushed the European mix on Train 16-3. The second map was Inferno, Space Soldiers' map pick but things got completely reversed as PENTA revenged their defeat with a 16-2 score line.

The closest map of the grand final was Cache but even it ended with 10 round margin in favour of Space Soldiers, crowning the Turks as Binary Dragons csgopolygon Season 1 champions. Excluding weekly tournament series and qualifiers, by winning the first edition of Binary Dragons csgopolygon, ?smailcan "Xantares" Dörtkarde? and co. lifted their third international trophy, after GO: Champions League Season 3 and ASUS ROG Summer 2016.
