Germany vs the Netherlands? Mexico vs Sweden? Do you think those matchs come from the Football World Cup? They don't! They are two of the 8 matches from the WGTour World Cup Playoffs!



36 nations have battled it out, divided in 6 groups. We now have the 12 ones which have managed to reach the playoffs, added to the 4 invited nations, Poland, Canada, Mexico and Germany.

While some teams like Peru, losing to the USA and Chile its first 2 matchs, managed to get qualified, some others like France, Czech Republic and Bulgaria did not.
On its side, Taiwan finished first of the Asian group, in a three way tie, but unfortunately did not get its spot to the playoffs.

Canada vs Peru

Mexico vs Sweden
Hungary vs Spain
Russia vs Australia
Netherlands vs Germany

Peru and Canada have already faced each other twice within the last 2 weeks, and Canada won both matches. We can expect to see a very nice rematch here.
