The IGN staff have revealed many pieces of the puzzle called IPL 3: Origins. Details about the groups, the casters and the streams are provided as well as information about the $20,000 League of Legends tournament to be held at the venue.
IPL is aiming for the skies with its third season to begin October 6th. As part of the veil is lifted, eSports fans are drowned in a sea of news regarding the so called "Origins" tournament.
The Players
With all the qualifiers completed, the 16 players - 8 invites and 8 qualified - are being divided into four groups of four. The final group standings will determine main tournament seeds. The main brackets itself will be a Ro32 single elimination race towards the $100,000 prize pool. 16 more players will come from the 256-man open tournament to be played at the venue.
Each group consists of two invites, a qualifier winner and a qualifier runner-up. Below is the full picture of how the player list and the pools look like:

Streams and Casters
To mediate the excitement to everyone who cannot make it to Caesar's Palace in Atlantic City, IGN will provide several ways to tune in to the action.
Two free 720p streams will cover the event. The main stage stream will cover the pool play on Thursday and Friday (October 6-7) and every single match from the main tournament on Saturday and Sunday (October 8-9).
Stream #2 will take care of open tournament games on Thursday and Friday and the $20,000 League of Legends tournament during the weekend.
For those of you with IGN Prime accounts, IPL will be bringing some unique perspective to the event. Both "Player POV" cameras (giving you a first-person image of the player's view) and "Roaming Backpack" cameras (circling the tournament grounds and providing interview, behind the scenes, etc) will be available to spice up the experience.
Furthermore, IPL is bringing some of the best in the casting business and the list is comprised of the names of CatsPajamas, Doa, HDStarCraft, PainUser, dApollo and djWheat, with TotalBiscuit under question depending on if he can resolves his visa issues.
Miscellaneous entertainment
During the first three tournament days, IPL 3 is organizing several signing sessions and different panels, the ones so far revealed being about The Business of eSports, Pro Player Panel and Game Developer Panels. A live edition of djWheat's Live on 3 show will also be among the scheduled events.
This is all the information released thus far by the IPL staff. Two more weeks remain for finalization of the event as the tournament itself is starting, as aforementioned, on October 6th.
