As 55% of the GosuGamers visitors believed, forU won the main finals of the World Cyber Games 2005!
Androide played very good the second game but could not break the all Korean highscore of the World Cyber Games.
The matches began on Estrella with Wacksteven and Tasteless introducing the match. Wacksteven being the formal one, beginning by thanking sponsors while Tasteless was laughing. Androide seemed prepared and motivated and started out good on Estrella. He went for fast expansion and moved down factories to the expansion shortly after. forU, however, made sure to counter that with a reaver drop in Androide's main. forU was microing easily as laughter and screaming broke out when more and more marines and scvs were taken down, one by one, by forU. Especially loud was forU's 20 or so Korean fans who waved with their Korean flags and their banners saying "We are your fans who came all the way to Singapore! forU for champion!"
Androide had to give up after forU later on attacked his expansion with several dragoons, giving him serious damage and killing three factories. Androide sent a final drop of two ships to forU's main and tried to go over the whole main to the expansion but did not succeed, he was shot down by goons and cannons. He typed "gg" and left.
Game two - Gaia
After a short break and some commercials, second game began on Gaia. forU was playing at the twelve o'clock position and Androide at six. Androide played a lot more stable and the both players had quite soon some interesting battles in the middle. Androide made one especially great move where he surrounded all the dragoons of forU with mines and vultures, and killed them off with tanks.
The Russian 20-year old expanded and started pushing in the middle, though forU was already building carriers with ecenomy based on his two expansions and his main. Androide pushed nicely, though forU did not even need to use his carriers before the game was over; his dragoons and speed zealots alone killed off the main army of Androide who quickly realized it was over and gave up.
At the after shots, like the one below, fifthy or so cameramen and journalists gathered around forU to get a clear shot. Androide was also there and was photographed together with the winner, both giving thumbs up. They were stalked for the remaining time so there was not a great time for an interview at that time.
Androide still seemed very happy with his performance and won a total of $10,000 while forU goes home with the double. The third prize of $5,000 will be given to the third place, and the match between Legionnaire and CNSTORM will begin shortly.
