Both in the interview with Pride and in the newspost at WGTour.com, the GGL staff explains their disappointments of people not showing up to the matches. "Several forfeit wins so far in the tournament which proves that for some it is still too hard to take a loss or wake up on time and keep up with the program." writes Entropy at WGTour.com. PuertoRican further explains in the interview with Pride that it most likely was because the players who did not show up would not make it to the next round, and thereby the match did not matter.
oG)Pride beat Evade in the fifth round, much because the maps favoured Pride. He says that he loves to go Arbiters in PvsT and that the starting locations favoured him a bit. But it was also a matter of micromanagement. "...his micro management was lacking that game and I was able to come back in the end."
About the whole walkover/forfeit win issue, Pride agress with PuertoRican. He says that there is always a chance to move on to the next level, and that just because it's only two rounds left does not mean you are out. "If you just give up then you may lose out on maybe a fill-in spot for the next step of the tournament or you might shoot yourself in the foot."
The Australian progamer Legionnaire got his revenge against Assem from the Team Liquid Tour playoff where Assem threw Legionnaire down in the Loser Bracket. This time Legionnaire won with a sturdy 2-0. Check out the replays yourself by going » here.
