In the first match the Spanish SEC attendant -=ALFA=- was up against the good Terran player e9.oxy. It turned out to be a close one, and it wasn't over until the last deciding minutes in the fifth and last game.
In the first game -=ALFA=- (pic) takes the win thanks to a bad expansion early on by Oxy that stands no chance against ALFA's three-hatch hydralisk pump. The second game Oxy equalizes the score by doing an early push with Marines and Medics, making ALFA incapable of putting down his second hatchery. The third game was played on Coulee, the Blizzard MMI map. There Oxy shows his impressive use of dropships and nice micromanagement and takes out ALFA quite effective.
The fourth game rounds up a nice macro war where the Spaniard uses his High Templars very good against the Zerg army, causing Oxy to surrender, putting the score to 2-2. For the final game Oxy goes back to his mighty Terran, but is unable to beat the stable play of ALFA with Templars and Zealots.

The NeoEx crew recently reported of two new NeoEx showmatches, putting players head to head against eachother in a best of five match. Two Spaniards take part in each match, and in the first match it was ALFA against the Serbian/Montenegrian e9.Oxy.
