It took nearly one hour of in-game minutes for Select and Thorzain to determine who is better of the two, but finally the Swede came victorious 4-1.
Thorzain and Select entered the extended series with a 2-1 score for the Swede and Select's task of winning three games against the TSL 3 champion proved impossible. After a 30 minute game on Xel'Naga Caverns, Thorzain seized the day after taking air control and revealing his four Battlecruisers, forcing Select to type out.
Another long and tough game came on Shattered Temple as the players kept taking more and more bases until a drop from Thorzain in Select's main accompanied by a frontal push ended the Korean and sent him out of the championship bracket.
In the other games in Round 5 the Terrans secured their domination even harder as Major took down Tyler 2-1, Fenix went flawlessly through Cruncher and Sjow took down KawaiiRice with a 2-1 score.
