MIT Sloan recently held an Esports Panel at their 7th Annual Sports Analytics Conference. The panel hosted by Slasher, comprising of industry heads from the worlds of both Traditional Sports and Esports, met to discuss the 'Esports Explosion' in recent years and the outlook for the future of the industry.

The panel including MLG CEO Sundance Di Diovanni, Blizzard President and Co-Founder Mike Morhaime, Twitch.tv COO Kevin Lin and Houston Rockets (NBA) General Manager Daryl Morey, analysed the surge of interest in esports following the advent of popular streaming websites and discussed the challenges that faces esports breaking into the mainstream media.
