The hockey-nation faced the surfer-nation in the second round of ClanBase Nations Cup. Both teams were a bit of favourites, but most people rooted for Canada, winners of Group B. Australia were runner-up in Group A, where they only lost to Poland.
At least I expected a really exciting game, but it proved that the Canadians were a bit hotter than the Australians.

I had a chat with oG)Paladin about the match and about ClanBase. Here's how it went:
Interview with oG)PaladinRaistlin: Hi, Paladin, you just recently lost to Nal_Testie in the brawl versus Canada. How does it feel?
Paladin: depressing :P, well not really Testie is an awesome player at the worst of times, and I just came back from overseas 6 weeks of no gaming so i was in no way shape or form to even work up a sweat for testie... not to mention he owned the shit out of me at our last meetRaistlin: How did you react when you knew that you were going to face Nal_Testie? Which one would you rather face instead of him in the Canadian team?
Paladin: anyone? :), i was pretty disapointed because I see Testie as atleast top 3 in canada and probably best in the clanbase team, and him being put up against legionnaire woulda been a whole lot more interesting and entertaining.
But if I had to pick Mora or Fayth.Raistlin: Okay. Australia came from Group A, where you ended up second. How far did Australia think you could go?
Paladin: Well much further if it was double elmination or something, Canada is in my opinion 3rd best in this tournament after Poland and Germany and us being put up against them so early was a lil unlucky but eh.., I'm still happy with how things turned out because before this noone thought we could play with the best and WE SHOWED THEM! :)Raistlin: If you were to take out an Allstar team from all the nations from the ClanBase Nations Cup, how would it look like?
Paladin: Best players from all teams? hmm Legionnaire, Testie, Mondragon, Tomson and Ovvi? I dont know :PRaistlin: Okay. Thanks for the little chat, and good luck for both you and Australia in upcoming tournaments!
