The 2009 Ever OSL comes to an end as Flash takes the trophy, defeating Movie after four sets with some intense protoss versus terran army clashes.

Movie started the game with a gas steal, while Flash then opted for a fast expand build. Movie himself then begins to quickly expand, taking not only his natural, but two more bases as well. Eventually Flash walls himself off from the top area of Heartbreak Ridge and begins to turtle his way to victory, after Movie fails to do any significant damage with recalls into Flash's base. Slowly and surely, Flash inches forward with his army of vultures, goliaths and tanks, crushing every attempt by Movie to push him back. After wasting some time, Movie GG's. 1-0 Flash.
The second set took place on the map El Nino where Flash spawned in the 4o'clock position and Movie in the 12o'clock. From the beginning, Flash was forced to play defensively after Movie went for a quick shuttle and was able to drop a few dragoons and zealots into Flash's base while Flash fast expanded. Coupled with a reaver and some dark templars, Movie was able to harass Flash quite a bit. However, Flash eventually was able to fight it off after obtaining a scanner and made a push with his tank/vulture army, almost ending the match if it wasn't for Movie's reaver micro. Even though Movie was able to push Flash back initially, it wasn't enough, Flash's macro shines again as an army was ready to push Movie back into his base. After Movie sends his zealot heavy army into Flash's tanks he taps out. 2-0 Flash.
The Eye of the Typhoon was the map to be played in the third set. Movie in this set played much safer than in his previous ones. Movie simply denied every attempt for Flash to obtain another expo while Movie himself was running on five bases. Combined with beautifully placed stasis fields, Movie was able to deny practically all attempts by Flash to expo into the lower corners of the map. Movie then went off to make carriers, and with Flash's tank and vulture heavy army, he was unable to create enough goliaths to counter the carriers. Flash eventually is forced to type GG in the third set, 1-2 Movie.
The fourth set took place on the map Fighting Spirit. With Movie going in for a fast expand build once more, Flash took this opportunity to bunker rush, destroying Movie's nexus and severely setting Movie behind in the match. A few moments later, Flash comes into Movie's front door, setting up tanks, mines, and turrets sealing Movie in his base. In the end, Flash pushes into Movies base and with no army capable of fighting back, Movie GG's, the set and the Ever 2009 OSL championship goes to Flash 3-1.
