The Top Five

Strelok has quite literally swept his opposition to the side like dust this month, after making an excellent performance at the WCG Grand Finals where he came third, losing to Practise (aka Luxury). Lying on the floor next to the throne is Mondragon, and although he has also been continuing his usual impressive play, was unable to stop the Warship from taking the #1 spot. Legend has been doing well also, getting himself up to the #3 spot behind Mondragon as IefNaij falls down to fifth place, White-Ra going up an extra spot to compensate with his good play in the ESL MS.

Not everyone has done so well this season, however. Draco, who lost out at WCG in a rather horrid group, has fallen six spots to number 10, though it is still quite something that he has remained on the rankings for so long whilst more or less inactive. NonY has fallen down four spots, most likely due to a lack of activity in the foreign scene, given his current position in eSTRO. SquaLL and Chosen, who we have seen relatively little of, have also fallen quite steeply.

MYM dominant, LRM on the rise

As usual, MYM remain the top team on the list, though they lost one spot from last month leaving them with a still-impressive eight spots out of the top 30. It should be noted that they have improved their position, with half of their spots in the top six. LRM are doing well, with CaStrO placed seventh, though Hannigan almost dropped off the rankings this month, losing eight places.

ToT are doing well as always, and with the addition of Shad, AeriALs and Naugrim to their team they are likely to become even better in the near future. Mondragon remains strong, though the others have generally lost places on the rankings.

Poland's grip threatened by the Chinese

This month, the only way to properly describe the goings-on in the rankings would be to suggest that there had been a Chinese invasion. Three Chinese players suddenly jumped onto the rankings, with LoveTT miraculously managing to enter the leaderboard at #8. Legend leads the way, having gone up three places this month to the third spot. With only one player difference between Poland and China, this will be something to watch for next month, particularly as Moonshine hangs in the balance at #30.

Peru fell off the chart this year, after Fenix disappeared from the rankings altogether. The US takes their place, with NonY on eleventh place, though this is likely to drop as he will be too busy with Korean events.

Concluding

This month has seen the Chinese invade the rankings, Mondragon lose his throne to the Warship once again, and future events are likely to make next month's rankings even more eventful than December's ones! Draco is, at long last, finally beginning to fall down the rankings, but he will remain for some time yet.
Until next month...
