ROC vs. SK
ROCCAT vs. SK Gaming was a race against the clock for SK Gaming. ROCCAT's domination in the LCS may have made them complacent as they locked in two late-game hypercarries as solo laners, Kayle and Jax. While the early game was relatively even between both teams, it wouldn't be longer before SK Gaming was driving advantages from their early game team composition. SK Gaming pulled out the Aatrox pick. which paid it's dividends.
As the game continued onwards, SK Gaming continued showing their kryptonic nature towards ROCCAT. ROCCAT had several chances to come back into the game, but went to the terrifying location of throws, the baron pit. After an unfortunate engage for ROCCAT there, the European powerhouses were overwhelmed as SK Gaming drove down the center and took an inhibitor, resulting in ROCCAT surrendering and losing the last two games against SK Gaming.
[A] vs. [M]
It's an even week and statistically, Alliance has always been strong on even weeks. Alliance were off to a good start with Shook finding first blood against Araneae's Evelyn. Araneae counter-played this by roaming top and grabbing a kill while Millenium were able to deny the gank bottom from Alliance. Millenium were the first to make an imapct in teamfights by grouping up, splitting apart Alliance, and grabbing kills and a dragon.
Despite the dragon and kill deficit, Alliance stayed relatively close in gold due to farm as well as keeping up in towers. Millenium ended up developing a better strategy and countering Alliance's split push. After a clean baron, Millenium outscaled Alliance and were able to take the game home.
