In the quarter finals of G-League, Young Glory managed to defeat their brother team in a 2-1 victory.
Although Invictus Gaming won the first game, they were unable to keep the momentum as Young Glory won the next two in a row. The other upset that happened tonight was World Elite Academy taking out World Elite themselves, finding success over the old powerhouse who lost Misaya to retirement.
Young Glory found their way to the grand finals by climbing up through the loser's bracket of the Wild Card tournament, 2-0ing LGD on the way there.
The graind finals of the G-League Bracket Stage will commence far off on the date of January 19th. The two teams have 20 days to prepare for the surprising grand final matchup. Stay tuned for more coverage once VODs are released to the public.
