Samsung Ozone and Fnatic find revenge on their previous losses in the matchups to kick off Group B.

SSO vs. GMB

Samsung Ozone's Imp found himself caught out in a similar manner to TheOddOne on the last day of Worlds.  Though he did survive, he blew a summoner but in return got Genja very low on his Doran's Shield Corki.  This, however, allowed Imp to grow far ahead in creep score.  The double AD composition was working extremely well early and Samsung Ozone allowed Gambit to grab no towers.

As the game went on, SSO eventually grabbed an 8-0 tower lead and Gambit Gaming wasn't able to stall long enough to get armor to counter it.  Even when they were able to muster some items, the scaling of Ezreal and Caitlyn were much too far along.  After losing to Gambit once, Ozone came back with a vengeance.

FNC vs. VUL

In the second game of the day, it would be a game of revenge, similar to the previous day.  We saw Fnatic go for a heavy disengage composition, but they utilized it for hard engage with xPeke's teleport roaming getting Fnatic way ahead.  At a point where Puszu had an Infinity Edge, Zuna only was sitting on double Doran's Blades and Vamp Scepter.

Not only did Fnatic find revenge during this game, but they made sure it was an absolute stomp.  Throughout the majority of the game, Vulcun was only able to muster up two kills.  Fnatic's Puszu has shown his insane growth as an AD carry player.  The map has been marked and Fnatic are looking closer to reclaiming their world cup.
